10. Introduction of Ordinances
a. Ordinance No. 2018-004 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ENGINEERING DESIGN FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO HILLSIDE AVENUE. This Ordinance will provide funding for the first phase engineering design for a 2018 Capital Project for improvements to Hillside Avenue for which the Township has received a NJDOT FY 2017 Municipal Aid Program Grant for $190,000.00. The public hearing for this Ordinance is scheduled for April 16, 2018 at 7:00 pm, Municipal Building, One Miller Lane, Bedminster, NJ.
11. Public Hearing of Ordinances
a. Ordinance #2018-003 AN ORDINANCE TO EXCEED THE MUNICIPAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION LIMITS AND TO ESTABLISH A CAP BANK (N.J.S.A. 40A:4-45.14) This Ordinance provides that a municipality may, when authorized by ordinance, appropriate the difference between the amount of its actual final appropriation and the 3.5% percentage rate as an exception to its final appropriations in either of the next two succeeding years.

a. The 2018 Municipal Budget – Presentation by Administrator Judy Sullivan.
The public hearing for the budget is scheduled for Monday, April 16, 2018 at 7:00 pm.

a. Potential Sale of Municipal Property
The Township property located at 130 Hillside Avenue, as an undersized and non-conforming lot, is eligible to be sold to a contiguous property owner or divided among multiple contiguous property owners. Several contiguous property owners do have interest. The Assessor is preparing a report with the fair market value of the property.
b. Farmer’s Market 2018
The Environmental Commission and the Agriculture Advisory Committee have been working on plans for a Farmer’s Market that would be open on Saturday mornings beginning in June 2018 at River Road Park.
c. Short-Term Rentals
Following a discussion with concerned residents at the March 5th meeting, the topic of short-term rentals through providers such as Air BnB will be investigated by the Township Committee.
