10. Introduction of Ordinances
a. Ordinance #2018-003 AN ORDINANCE TO EXCEED THE MUNICIPAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION LIMITS AND TO ESTABLISH A CAP BANK (N.J.S.A. 40A:4-45.14) This Ordinance provides that a municipality may, when authorized by ordinance, appropriate the difference between the amount of its actual final appropriation and the 3.5% percentage rate as an exception to its final appropriations in either of the next two succeeding years. The public hearing for this Ordinance is scheduled for April 2, 2018 at 7:00 pm, Municipal Building, One Miller Lane, Bedminster, NJ.

a. Ordinance No. 2018-02 THIS ORDINANCE AMENDS THE GENERAL ORDINANCES, CHAPTER X ENTITLED “FIRE PREVENTION”. This Ordinance amends Sections 10-1.2 through 10-8 of Chapter X.

16. New Business
a. Winter Storm Riley & Winter Storm Quinn Update
At the request of PPWM Mantz, Committeeman Stevinson and Committeeman Hickey – Discussion concerning the removal of brush and debris from storm damage caused by Riley and Quinn.
17. Old Business
a. Potential Sale of Municipal Property
The Township property located at 130 Hillside Avenue, as an undersized and non-conforming lot, is eligible to be sold to a contiguous property owner or divided among multiple contiguous property owners. Several contiguous property owners do have interest and will contact the town soon with details.
c. Farmer’s Market 2018
The Environmental Commission and the Agriculture Advisory Committee have been working on plans for a Farmer’s Market that would be open on Saturday mornings beginning in June 2018.
d. Short-Term Rentals
Following a discussion with concerned residents at the March 5th meeting, the topic of short-term rentals through providers such as Air BnB will be investigated by the Township Committee.
